At Urban Tiger our aim is to ensure you have a fun night in our sumptuous but friendly surroundings. Below are some of the most common questions we get asked, both about things you might want to know about before arriving at the club and once you're in the club. Before arriving at the club

What’s the dress code?
Smart casual, no trainers, ripped jeans or football shirts. All of our dancers are dressed in evening dress.

When is Urban Tiger open?
Opening Times
Tues - Thurs 10pm - 4am, Fri - Sat 9pm - 4am. The bar is open till 4am every night. Sunday & Monday the club is available for private hire only. Entry allowed at any time during trading times.

How do I book?
Call us on 01604 824766 to book your table.

How much does it cost to get in?
Entrance costs: Tues - Thurs £5 before 11pm, and £7 after. Fri - Sat £7 before 11pm, and £10 after.

Will you refuse entry for any reason?
Yes, like most clubs we reserve the right to refuse admittance. Anyone considered to be drunk, rowdy, using profane language, unsuitably dressed or have a history of causing problems will not be admitted. We will also refuse entry to anyone suspected of carrying drugs or a weapon.

Do you cater for corporate parties?
We cater for private events within our VIP area and can arrange for the catering on your behalf should you wish.

Are their parking facilities nearby?

Are ladies welcome?
Of course. Ladies will have a great time, just like the fellas. If you’ve kept up-to-date with the gossip columns you’ll know that the likes of Sarah Cox, Kate Moss and Madonna have all enjoyed recent trips to lap-dancing clubs.

Is there disabled access?
Yes, there is ground floor access to the club and a substantial part of the club is on one, accessible level. There is also a toilet with access for people with disabilities.

In the club

Do I have to stay at my table all night?
No, you can find a table or join us at the bar.

Will the dancers talk to me?
Of course. If you’d like to buy one of the young ladies a drink then they’ll be more than happy to join you for a chat.

How do I arrange for a dancer to dance for me?
Once you figured out who your favourite is (and that may take some time!) either request a dance when she visits your table or simply ask your waitress to ask the dancer to join you.

How do I let a dancer on the stage know that I would like her to dance for me?
By leaving a tipping token, available from your waitress, on the stage while the dancer is performing.

How much does a dance cost?
A topless dance costs £10 and a nude dance cost £20. Nude dances are performed in one of the dance booths.

Can I pay by credit card?
Yes, you can pay for drinks by credit card (billed as Urban Crowd). You can also purchase dance ‘chips’, similar to chips used in casinos, from your waitress using your credit card.

Will 'Urban Tiger' come up on my credit card statement?
No, your credit card statement will read ‘UC Ltd’. A cash ATM is available for customer use, charge rate £5 per transaction.

Can I obtain a receipt for drinks and dances?
Yes. Just ask your waitress.

How long will the dance last?
Each dance will as long as the track being played lasts, approximately three minutes.

Am I allowed to touch any of the dancers?
Absolutely not, unless it is to shake hands or hand over a tip.

What if I ask for a nude dance?
Your dancer will take you to a dance booth where you’ll be expected to remain seated with your hands at your side until the dance is over.

Can I take my friend(s) into one of the booths with me?
No.

Will there be anyone else in the booth with me?
There may well be other guests in the booth with you who have also arranged a nude dance.

What happens when the dance is finished?
Some guests prefer to pay before the dance, but, if you haven’t, you should pay the dancer at the end and she will then escort you back to your table.

Can I take photographs?
No.

Can I use my mobile phone inside the club?
Yes, in the reception area only.

Is smoking permitted?
Yes.

Do you have security?
Yes, we have our own security both on the door and in the club. We also operate CCTV throughout the club for our patrons’ safety. CCTV footage is recorded to disk, not tape, and controlled by the venue manager.

Are there cloakroom facilities?
Yes.

Do your drinks prices include service?
No, they don’t. Tipping our waitresses is at your own discretion.
